We are thrilled to celebrate our partner, Global Mangrove Trust, on the official registration of the first-ever mangrove restoration project under the Gold Standard.

This is a historic achievement for the voluntary carbon market, and we are proud to have supported this initiative with our technology. By combining high-resolution satellite imagery with ML-driven analytics we provided the precise data and monitoring needed to quantify carbon sequestration for this high-integrity framework.

This project in North Sumatra sets a new global benchmark for coastal conservation. Congratulations to the teams at GMT, Yagasu (Yayasan Gajah Sumatra), Gold Standard and Marex, for its commitment to high integrity NbS and its support for regular high accurate carbon stock analysis. We are honored to be the technology partner helping turn these vital ecosystems into verifiable climate action.

He has led the development of a global satellite imagery browsing system, worked on the first use of high resolution imagery for environmental monitoring under the Gore / Chernomyrdin Environmental Working Group, and led the product management for a multi-hazard climate risk monitoring solution for the insurance and reinsurance industry. He now leads Kumi Analytics to drive sustainable solutions for the planet using remote sensing data.
