We’re looking for a mission-driven Full Stack Developer to build and enhance our purpose-built platforms, EcoLenz and KACSAT, turning complex data into user-friendly applications.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Developing and maintaining robust web applications using modern frontend and backend frameworks
• Building scalable APIs to serve geospatial and machine learning data
• Collaborating with product managers and designers to create intuitive user interfaces
• Integrating cloud services (AWS/GCP) and databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS)
• Ensuring code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
• Those who are successful will progress quickly, either as individual contributors or following a management path.
We’re looking for someone who has:
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) for backend development
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
• Familiarity with geospatial data and web mapping libraries (e.g., Mapbox, Leaflet) is a plus
• Cares deeply about the climate and ecosystems of earth
• Is a self-starter who thrives in constantly evolving environments, ideally with early-stage start-up experience
