While this project was announced previously, this feature highlights the impactful work done by Global Mangrove Trust, demonstrating how high-integrity blue carbon systems can scale in practice.

The article also highlights how Kumi Analytics played an essential role in providing the geospatial technology and best practice required to accurately measure and model carbon in these complex ecosystems.

Notably, this Gold Standard project serves as an extension to the existing OxCarbon project in the area, creating a comprehensive strategy that combines both avoidance and removals.
